Artist Statement:

To be morbid is to be honest. 

​

When you deconstruct the English language, there is much truth in our metaphors we use on a daily basis, and I want to amplify these truths through visuals that are aggressive and demand attention

"That club is a meat market" "piece of ass" "men are dogs" all coincide that women are a product to be consumed while males are the consumer. We can see stark parallels in the consumer culture that we see in sexism. 

 

As a female artist, I want to revolt against what a typical woman should be according to society. I want to take up space, I want to be agressive, I want to play in the dirt of our disgusting reality, I want to get messy and make a statement. That is what I wanted to accomplish with this anxiety-inducing, loud, bright, video.
